Website and sales terms
Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 14 July 2026. These terms are drafted for the planned Coffee Wholesalers online store. They should be checked against the final company details, product catalogue, shipping rules and back-end functions before publication.
1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Coffee Wholesalers website and purchases made through the online store. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms together with the Privacy Policy and Returns and Refunds Policy.
2. Business details
The website is operated by SSF Coffee Wholesalers, trading as Coffee Wholesalers, from Shop 10 Montana Value Centre, Montana, Pretoria, South Africa. Contact details published on the website form part of these terms.
3. Website use
You may use the website for lawful personal or business purchasing purposes. You may not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code, scrape restricted data or use the website in a way that could damage our systems or other users.
4. Product information
We aim to present product descriptions, weights, grind options, prices and images accurately. Product photography and screen settings may cause differences in appearance. Coffee is a natural product, and flavour may vary slightly between crops and batches.
Placeholder images and sample products included in the front-end version are not offers for sale and must be replaced with confirmed products before launch.
5. Prices
Prices are displayed in South African rand. The website will state whether prices include value-added tax where applicable. We may change prices before an order is placed. A price change will not alter an order that has already been accepted, unless the displayed price was clearly incorrect and the law permits correction.
6. Placing an order
Adding a product to the cart does not reserve stock. An order is submitted when you complete checkout. We may send an automated acknowledgement, but the order is accepted only after payment has been confirmed and we have confirmed that the products can be supplied.
We may decline or cancel an order where stock is unavailable, information is incomplete, payment is not confirmed, fraud is suspected, a pricing error occurred or delivery cannot reasonably be completed.
7. Payments
Online payments are intended to be handled through PayFast. Payment is subject to the payment provider’s terms and approval processes. We are not responsible for a payment provider declining a transaction, but we will assist with order-related questions where possible.
8. Stock availability
Products are subject to availability. If a product becomes unavailable after payment, we will contact you to offer a suitable alternative, a revised delivery date or a refund for the unavailable item.
9. Delivery
We deliver within South Africa to supported destinations. Delivery is planned to be managed through Shiprazor and connected courier services. Delivery charges and estimated timeframes will be shown at checkout once the final shipping rules are connected.
Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. Delays may arise from courier operations, weather, public holidays, remote locations, inaccurate addresses or events outside our reasonable control.
10. Delivery information and risk
You are responsible for providing a complete and correct delivery address, contact number and recipient details. Additional charges caused by incorrect information or repeated delivery attempts may be payable by the customer where legally permitted.
Risk in the products passes according to applicable consumer law and the delivery arrangement. Please inspect the parcel promptly and report damage, shortages or incorrect items as set out in the Returns and Refunds Policy.
11. Customer accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account login details confidential and for activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
12. Reviews and submitted content
Reviews must reflect a genuine experience and may not contain unlawful, abusive, misleading or private information. We may moderate or remove content that breaches these terms. By submitting a review, you grant us permission to display it on the website and related business channels, subject to applicable law.
13. Intellectual property
The website design, written content, branding, graphics and other materials belong to Coffee Wholesalers or their respective owners and are protected by law. You may not copy or republish these materials for commercial use without written permission.
14. Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 or other applicable South African law.
15. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Coffee Wholesalers is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from website unavailability, third-party services, delayed delivery or use of products outside their intended purpose. Our liability will not be excluded where the law does not allow exclusion.
16. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for a failure or delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier disruption, infrastructure failure, strikes, natural events, government action or widespread service outages.
17. Changes to the website and terms
We may update the website, product range and these terms. The terms that apply to an order are those published when the order is placed, unless a change is required by law.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes may be referred to a court or other forum with lawful jurisdiction, subject to any consumer dispute process that applies.
19. Contact
Questions about these terms may be sent to pretoria@coffeewholesalers.co.za or directed to Coffee Wholesalers at Shop 10 Montana Value Centre, Montana, Pretoria.
